I am an Electrical Engineering Ph.D. student at Arizona State University working with Prof. Mojdeh Khorsand where I am working on load monitoring, and forecasting as a gateway towards intelligent energy systems and effective demand response.

Before starting my Ph.D., I was a Masters student at ASU under Prof. Khorsand, where I worked on a bidding generation tool for DER Aggregators with PV and battery storage resources participating in the wholesale energy market and ancillary services. We developed an optimization tool with consideration of uncertainity of resource forecast and market price, and the aggregators tolerance to the risk of being penalized due to defaulting obligations, along with the resource-wise individual techno-economical constraints. This was a PSERC project in collaboration with some amazing folks from EPRI.

I am excited and passionate about energy, climate tech, energy markets, power systems operations and planning, distribution systems, load intelligence and analysis, optimization and machine learning for power systems, and markov modelling.

I completed my Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from PES University, Bangalore, India, where I was exposed to power systems and research.

I am the Chair of the IEEE PES ASU Student Chapter, where I plan and facilitate events related to power systems related software tutorials, talks, seminars, and social events. Under my leadership, we have received over $2000 of funding and have been consistently ranked on the High Performing Student Chapter list in our region.

I was also the Coordinator for Conferences and Meetings in IEEE PES ECE where we strive to make IEEE PES Conferences and Meetings a place for all people.

I like to run, crochet, and watch Reality TV.
